The soil is the heart of the orchard. All the nutriments the trees need comes from the soil, these nutriments are made available by soil microbes.
Our crews are made up or folks from the local area. We have had several folks work for us who were just in the area for the summer and looking for experience in farm work.
Our intention is to live and work in the cleanest, healthiest environment possible, growing food for our children, ourselves and our community.
Meet Your Orchardists: Rob & Linda
Rob and Linda Cordtz care deeply about providing a wholesome, natural product to their customers. The orchard specializes in tree-ripened and hand-picked fruit, and is located in peaceful Eagle Valley, East of Baker City, Oregon. The fruit trees are watered from Eagle Creek which flows clear and cold directly out of the Wallowa Mountains. 1200 fruit trees cover the five acre orchard which has been Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth since 2008.
Rob and Linda enjoy working in the orchard and the beautiful Eagle Valley while providing the people of Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho with wholesome, fresh, nutriment-dense fruit. The fruit and nuts they grow at the orchard are simply phenomenal.
