Harvest Has Started

Our first fruits are ready to harvest! We've started to pick apricots and plums, they are beautiful, good size and flavor. The peaches are not far behind.
You folks from Peaceful Belly CSA who have our fruit shares will be getting your first fruit the week of August 1, the fruit will be Plumcots, a tasty fresh eating plum and Goldrich apricots, a large cot great used in baking, jams, chutney or dried. Your fruit share will come in a reusable cotton produce bag for your convenience, please return the bag each of the 10 weeks your fruit share runs, to your pick up place so we can fill them again for you.
Thank you again to all of you who have supported our orchard by buying fruit shares this year. Your support has made it possible for us to run our orchard, growing fruit for you without having to borrow money from one of the banksters to pay for all the spring needs. Now your reward starts, the fruit it coming!
